Editor’s note: This is one my favourite photo galleries from the moshpit that we’ve ever published. Jamie’s photography is taut with emotion, and the deeper you scroll, the more the room around you fades. It felt like I could hear the bass, taste the sweat, feel the music reverberating through my body. Like, a month and a half on, I wasn’t seeing these images through a screen, but I was right there, looking up at them from a thrumming crowd. Yeah, keep scrolling. Seriously. ~ Abby
March 3rd; the New York based synth-pop band, Porches, played Black Cat in Washington DC. The show was opened by groups Girl Ray and Palberta. Enjoy this photo gallery from the night! All photos were taken by Jamie Langley (@urbantravelller).

love the black and white photos-
same!! I love how much emotion and expression can be conveyed when you remove the colour x
That’s a great way to put it- black and white photos tell amazing stories!
